I am really enjoying 10Ticks. It is such a cool program that makes Maths learning a lot easier for me and my friends. It is so clear and simple to use and I like that I don't have to search the internet for ages to find work to help me. Now it is all in one place!

Our teacher sets the work for us, based on what we are learning in class, and when we're finished we can revise and play lots of different Maths games. I like to play these with my friends, we have competitions over who can score the...

Design your own games with Gamestar Mechanic

Our computer club, 'Destination Imagination', has recently started their own game design project. They make use of a great website called Gamestar Mechanic, which teaches the students the principles of game design by using 'quest courses'.

Their first game is called Patience is a Virtue. Enjoy the game here!

10Ticks Maths Review by Louise Clarke

This week the Intermediate Phase was proud to launch, for the first time in South Africa, the 10ticks Maths programme. This unique, online programme, which was introduced to parents for the first time at our Theme Evening, empowers the girls to take ownership of their Maths learning.
